Metnor Construction Ltd were awarded the design and construction of 58 bed care home in Chester for Silver Sea Developments.
The proposed care home for elderly people will provide 58 beds laid out in flexible wings, specially designed to deliver the highest standards in living and communal spaces for residents over two floors, together with a basement which houses the kitchen, laundry and plant room areas.
The proposed main entrance into the care home is accessed from Chester Road with dedicated parking consisting of 23 spaces, 3 disabled car bays together with a delivery and ambulance bay. There is also a provision for secure parking for 12 cycles.
All bedrooms will be equipped with en-suite bathrooms designed for safety and accessibility. Facilities include hairdressers, café, cinema room and assisted bathrooms, in addition to lounges, dining rooms and flexible day rooms on each floor.
Landscaped gardens will be provided with raised planters and fully accessible footpaths.
