“The building was originally used as a bullion store and proved to be an ideal site to create a secure facility for a new data/node centre. The works included the construction of an extension for a power centre and generator house.
The project provided 7,500sq/ft of data centre space with a 6000A switchboard, 2 x 4 MVA transformers, 2 x 2 MVA generators c/w acoustic enclosures, mini power PLC monitoring/switching system, fire and Vesda systems, FM200 suppression system. General building and civil engineering works included piling, foundations, structural steelwork, brick and blockwork and redecoration.”
