Twickenham, Middlesex
The project involved the design and construction of a new West Stand for the Harlequins Rugby Football Club at their famous Memorial Stoop Ground in Twickenham.
Completed in September 2009, the works consisted of the demolition of the existing aging structure and the construction of a new two storey cantilevered stand with a mezzanine level to incorporate changing rooms, shops, food kiosks, corporate facilities, a TV studio and seating for 4000 people.
Traditional blockwork and brickwork construction with off-site prefabricated pre-cast seating supported on a structural steelwork frame.
