Heatherview Care Home

Residential Care Home in Crowborough, Sussex

Heatherview is a 74 bed purpose-built care home close to Crowborough town centre and the South Downs, providing residential, nursing, dementia and respite care for older people.

The project was completed in April 2011. The internal finishes include a café/bar area, hairdressers to create a “village area” and externally there are landscaped grounds with sensory planting.

The building was constructed using a structural steel frame with insitu concrete floors and blockwork. It has a basement ground floor with access for storage.

A sedum roof and a planted green wall to the front elevation provides year-round colour. The external walls are a mixture of brickwork, coloured render, curtain wall glazing and timber cladding, giving it a lively and welcoming appearance within the streetscape.
