Fantastic to see our Metnor Construction logo on the field, we are proud to sponsor Wynyard FC under 7’s who are looking very professional in their new kit.

The club sits in the beautiful grounds of 4-star Wynyard Hall.  Metnor Construction have been working with the Hall on the development of the Walled Gardens; an attraction in its own right after blending contemporary design and build techniques with the original Grade II listed walls of the garden.

The Visitor Centre was completed in 2015 and is the gateway to the Walled Garden at Wynyard Hall, a £1.6m garden planted with 3000 roses within the hotel’s grounds.

We recently completed The Cookery School which utilises some existing buildings formerly gardener’s stores, potting sheds etc. with new additions straddling the original estate garden wall. The facilities include a function room, meeting room/breakout area, accommodation stores, plant room and a spectacular 31 metre Victorian style glasshouse. External works include dedicated parking area and landscaping. The glasshouse is on the same site as the original which fell into disrepair in the 1940’s.

We recognise and understand the significance of the local community within which we operate and aim to enhance our contribution to its well-being. The relationship with Wynyard Hall has been extremely positive and this sponsorship has certainly proven to benefit their community.
