G4C Awards

30/04/2018

Generation 4 Change is aiming to be “The driving force for industry change, through the development and connection of the future industry leaders”, and on Friday 27th April held their annual G4C awards, showcasing what had been achieved by our young construction workforce, and their mentors.

At Metnor Construction we believe in supporting young people through education and qualifications, whilst they work with us learning the practical applications. Its great to see our apprentices coming up with new initiatives and putting these in place on our projects. Their initiative and enthusiasm is what will carry the construction industry and it was great to see so many like-minded individuals at the G4C Awards.

Our own young apprentices were given the opportunity to meet their peers and share experiences, whilst Lee Kirk, Operations Manager was awarded G4C’s ‘Mentor of the Year’ award, testament to the commitment he has to our future workforce.

We hope to continue championing the work of G4C and encouraging young people to enter the industry – well done to all the winners of the Awards ceremony – see you next year!
