Metnor’s Mighty Hike!

This year, Metnor Construction has partnered with Macmillan Cancer Support as their Charity of the Year.

We are taking part in a number of activities throughout 2019 to help us reach our fundraising target, including a 10k mud run and a charity quiz night, which includes raffle prizes kindly donated from a number of businesses, including Wolseley, BSS, Adelphi and Experience Days.

On Saturday 6th July, Team Metnor took part in a marathon hike from Alnwick Castle to Bamburgh Castle.

We are fundraising in memory of our colleague Graham Carter. Graham was a fantastic member of our team and instrumental in the delivery of one of our largest projects to date; a £15m care home in Chertsey, Surrey. Graham told us about this annual three peak challenge in Yorkshire, where he lived with his wife and two sons, and it has inspired us to take part in a similar challenge closer to home.
