Metnor Construction has successfully delivered Care Home developments throughout the UK from Brighton on the South Coast, to Edinburgh in Central Scotland. Many of our projects have also included the provision of additional close care apartments extending the range of facilities available to our clients and their stakeholders. We have an enviable track record in this sector and consistently deliver projects of high quality safely, on programme and within client’s budgets. Our key clients include Care UK, BUPA Care Homes [CFC], Gracewell Healthcare/ Noosa Developments and Signature Senior Lifestyle.
We are able to use our extensive knowledge to provide very accurate construction costings and can offer advice on planning, appropriateness of design and buildability. We are familiar with various forms of environmentally friendly installations such as solar panels, grey water harvesting and energy saving combined heating and power plants which can make Care Homes more efficient and significantly reduce ongoing utility bills.
Since the award of our first Care Home project in 2004, we have constructed 19 new facilities and carried out three major extensions to existing properties. To date the construction value of our work in this sector, including completed projects, work in progress and new contracts will exceed £136m. With our current projects, the total of new purpose built care homes will increase to 25 with an impressive total of 1903 residential spaces which are a mixture of bedrooms, suites and extra care apartments.
